PayNet processes all major credit cards,
including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Novus (Discover),
Diners Club/Carte Blanche and JCB. We can open merchant accounts
for the acceptance of Mastercard, Visa and American Express, and
facilitate the opening of merchant accounts for all other card
types.

PayNet supports the transmission of credit card information
by virtually any means. We support virtually all credit card processing
terminals, software,
electronic cash registers

PayNet utilizes the services of all the major "front-end" authorization and data capture vendors and platforms, including
Visanet/Vital, Paymentech (Gensar), Concord, First Data (Envoy/Nashville,
Telemoney), Global (NDC eCommerce, MAPP, Modular Data) and Buypass.
Canadian
Merchants
Since
PayNet is an agent of Harris Bank, and Harris is owned by
the Bank of Montreal, we are uniquely positioned to open U.S.
merchant accounts for Canadian businesses. Following are the
special terms under which Canadian businesses may apply for
a U.S. merchant account:

The
business must have a U.S. depository account. PayNet can
facilitate the opening of such an account (business checking
or savings) at Harris Bank, or you may open an account at
the financial institution of your choice.
- The business
must have a U.S. mailing address.

U.S.
merchant accounts are available only for non-card-swipe
transactions, typically mail-, phone- and Internet-order.

Cardholders
will be billed in $US and merchants will be credited in
$US.

The
underwriting criteria for Canadian merchants is the same
as for U.S. merchants.

Pricing
is the same as for U.S. merchants.

All
fees are quoted in $US. Application and setup fees are payable
in U.S. currency or by Visa or Mastercard at time of application.
Reporting Provided
In addition to regular and customizable monthly statements,
PayNet merchants can access transaction data through a fax-back
system, a dial-up software program or via the Web.
Customer
Support
PayNet's Customer Service department is staffed during regular
Eastern time business hours. Merchants are encouraged to call
us with any questions or problems. Processor help desks are staffed
24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. Merchants may call a help desk
for terminal support or to confirm batch transmission. Authorization
centers are also staffed 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
